ABOUT TRISTINE YIN

A member of Society of Lyricists and Composers (SCL), registered composer, author and publisher with American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), a member of the Alliance for Women Film Composers (AWFC), Women in Media (WiM), Women in Film.

Founder and owner of Ametrine Records, an ASCAP registered publishing entity, home of cinematic, classical and contemporary music for tv and film.

Tristine is the first of 2 Asian American female composers to be invited by Sharon Farber to attend the Guitar Oasis International Music Festival’s Film Score Program and competition and received firsthand mentorship in real world composition experience from choosing a motif to conducting a live orchestra for an opening title of a show. 

Tristine is currently a composer assistant and intern to Sharon Farber for a soon to be released documentary on anti-semitism.

Mentored by Taylor Swift’s former manager Rick Barker, praised by Clinton Sparks as a hitmaker, recruited to Adam Mcinnis’ Billboard 500 club as a rising artist and a member of Timbaland’s Beatclub.

A talent with a musical bone blessed with a musical bone at the tender age of 3, learning how to play the piano came naturally with an ear for music, and 11 years of classical musical theory on the piano to complement.

Tristine brings a heartfelt flair for epic story-telling through unique composition and production and powerful melodies, harmonies, beats and rhymes.

A songwriter with a knack for catchy hooks and memorable melodies that get people singing along immediately after first hearing songs, Tristine makes an imprint with her music be it singer songwriter melodies or lyrics or the simple motif to an opening title for your tv show or film.
